Nebula Mentis*

Hello, I am Stefanie.

Autism and ADHD coach, HR professional, partner, mother, friend,... and above all: a person with a heart for people.

I have a rich background in HR, both in internal roles and through consultancy, with experience in compensation and performance management, absenteeism, HR optimisations and project management. Through my professional experience, I have seen first-hand the impact neurodiversity can have in the workplace. How different perspectives can unintentionally lead to frustration and misunderstandings. Equally, I have witnessed how mutual respect and understanding create clarity and foster smoother collaboration.  Nebula Mentis is my way of helping organisations understand and embrace neurodiversity in the workplace.

My qualifications

2025: Masterclass ADHD Treatment: Alternatives to Medication (ZitStil - Dr. Annelies Verlaet)

2025: Magenta programme: care, work and life in balance (Magenta)

2024/2025: Post-graduate autism coaching (PXL Hogeschool Hasselt)

"Nebula" refers to my love for astronomy: a nebula is a place in the universe where thin clouds of dust and gas cluster together and new, young stars are born. Through a pair of binoculars or a telescope, a nebula appears as a small fuzzy spot with a bit of luck. It symbolises uncertainty, misunderstanding, and difficulties for people who think and feel differently. The bright blue-white stars that are born in a nebula refer to a new beginning, to the clarity and potential once insight, understanding or guidance has been found for someone's neurodiversity.

“Mentis” stands for mind and refers to our wonderful, complex brain.
